Okay did I say that I wanted Effie’s son to be born as a saint and give like 3 paragraphs as to why I think it was possible. To then try and clarify that I just wanted Effie’s son to be a little wolf? Yes. Yes I did. Did I call that? Yes. Yes I did. Do I have the dumbest smile on my face right now? Yes. Yes I do.

The concept of a transcendent child seemed absurd to me. He didn't have to do anything to become one of the most powerful beings in the world. This made Sunny's efforts to become a Saint appear to be a joke. Not to mention the huge plot armor. Effie was trapped in a “safety” loop for months, then she gained a memory to keep the baby safe and finally, he was born outside the river. G3 didn't even try to hide it I lost all interest in reading the rest of the chapter.

Just realized dude probally found out she was pregnant and baby was there like a week later. Effie spent 5 months in the river then 2 more after the island so she could at best be 2/3 months when she went in 😩 and they came out the same time they had went in . . .
