does anyone else get the feeling that Sunny's 'fated' attribute has more to it than what was originally thought? I mean look at his current situation. Devine aspect, shadow and weaver lineage, somehow managing to get the mirror he would need to get into the estuary safety, and the sword that pretty much lit up all these truths allowing him to learn all this forgotten/forbidden knowledge....I'm sure there's loads more. it just can't be a coincidence đ©
Poindexter92:also it's like he is somehow being led or manipulated down a certain path. first the blood of weaver, then the mask, then the bone.... probably others that I'm forgetting. what's next and what does it mean for Sunny?
How many people woke up today, hopeful to find Shadow Slave had updated and dashed to discover they have to go through the day without knowing more, as alas, it didn't update today. Today we morn the loss of many peoples read streaks (has it really been years?), and acknowledge many will be sitting there staring at their phones feeling lost. Fret not my friends, for when tomorrow comes the chapters will too! Thanks Guilty for this addictive story! Enjoy your holiday!
The Mad Prince was going to share all of this with Sunny in the dream, but Sinny stopped him. 'I want to tell you a secret ' It wasn't to spread the corruption, it was to break the thousands of cycles. If through Weaver's forbidden lineage, he has Dream God's, then that's why the Mad Prince could influence/infiltrate dreams.
Actually, I would like to make a correction to my theory from the previous chapter. I am now starting to believe that he seven heroes may not have been the gods, but rather, the daemons themselves. Born into the world, and forced to sacrifice themselves along with their followers to keep the seal, and the nightmare, away. Thus the point of the Nightmares, to provide soul energy to the goddess trapped, to keep her from becoming fully corrupted and having the prison break. Thus the terrible secret of the daemons, is that they sacrificed everything, along with future generations, to keep the corruption away.
I assume the doom war was led by the 6 Daemons excluding Weaver in order to free their creator Dream God. where as Weaver decided that he wouldn't join and actually stand on his own because as the daemon of fate he knew what could happen, that or he didn't want to risk being absorbed back into Dream God which is fair
