For anyone wondering about Nephis…She has an insane healing ability + Sunny’s shadows. You don’t instantly die with your neck snapped, it would just cut off innervation to important organs, which would kill you quickly but not immediately. She probably healed the injury immediately. My guess is she let the guy snap her neck to lower his guard so she could deliver the surprise attack, which historically, is a very Nephis move.

Pretty cool neph but I still think sunny did it better… what’s a broken neck compared to having your head chopped off

I've just had an amazing revelation .Sunny's original nightmare.the 3 other characters.They were all aspects of Sunny's personality.the flawed hero.the cold self-absorbed intelligence. and the shifty criminal.the nightmare creature mountain king an amalgamation of his worst personality attributes.Making the original nightmare actually a type of therapeutic test to see if the individual can overcome their personal flaws.This is why everybody's nightmare so personal and always within their ability to defeat. As long as they are willing to wrestle within themselves...
