Waaait... they've released Riftan's POV between book 1 & 2, so we'll have to go through aaaaaall the side story's chapters before moving on with the plot? š¤Ø I'm grossly dissatisfied, to be honest. I was hoping they'd be published simultaneously, in two separate works, so that we could read them both. All this additional wait, and for what? š®āšØ I'm not on Ridi, so I have no idea whether or not this structure was wanted by the author; nevertheless, the least Webnovel could have done was releasing a few chapters at once, to make up for the delay š«
Iām a little disappointed.. I was impatient like a bad addiction. I found Riftans pov online last night and read it all till 5 am this morningā„ļø the story is so worth it donāt get me wrong but I was hoping for the next book š I canāt handle not knowing whatās to become of our dear maxi ā„ļøā„ļøā„ļøā„ļø
Not that my comment matters much and although Iām just as gutted not to get book 2, itās almost poetic justice that we have to wait, just like Riftan is waiting for Maxi. Iāve always thought that Riftans POV should actually be book 1. Since it finishes where the current book 1 starts. But totally agree that it explains Riftans love for Maxi and his journey to be the man we see in Book 1.
*** SPOILER ALERT *** Iām absolutely dying for Riftan to eventually tell Maxi that he has known her since they were children. Only 10 more chapters left till the Korean version of Book 2 is published on Ridi and I have a long laundry list of things I hope KSJ will write about: - Riftan admitting that he met Maxi when they were kids - Riftan and Maxi having kids - At least two chapters of them happy and back in Anatol
It would have been wrong if they released both book 2 and riftan pov at the same time. Riftan pov is not a mere regurgitation of book 1 events. it happens before book 1 even starts, so it is completely different story .there are important plot points being released her. if it was released side by side with book 2, it'll just be confusing. Besides, Riftan's voice is much more interesting than Max's it's a crime we do not have more chapters with his pov. I'd have preferred if the whole book 2 was in riftan pov.
