I did not like how the romance with Artoria was approached, it came out of nowhere, they have known each other for practically nothing, it seems that the MC only takes advantage of lonely women. I'm not against a well-built harem, but I found it too sudden. Too bad I was liking the novel.

True canon that she find herself a bit unappealing due to the fact she needs to hide she was a woman if im not wrong. Also arthoria is unique because during fate/zero and fate/stay night, she was summoned half living. Apparently merlin freeze her in statis during her final moments under her wish to change history. So after the routes from fate/stay night ends, she return to the point in time she was dying, relinquishing her wish to change history, and hence the scene where benevire throw excalibur happen.
