Black Fighter Jet
not sure what to think about this scenario. I like what it is intended to be from a storyline perspective, it allows the mc to establish an identity and reputation. But there are some parts that require a bit more information to make it realistic. For instance if you look at history than you might notice that whenever a king is willing to take on advice from outside the royal court trust needs to be built. Advice about war would only be considered if the advice giver has proven himself, especially if the advice giver does not have a noble family behind him (e.g. a general had a career as commanding officer before becoming a general, a minister has an history of managing a territory well before becoming a minister, etc). I would have liked to see some of the advice given prior to today that would give the king the confidence that asking a question about war would give him an answer he should consider. For instance a prior q&a could be about taxes, control of resources or even discussing a small conflict between countries and how it could affect trade. And another part that I found a bit unrealistic is the talk about the weather, if it can heavily snow up north than neighboring countries would know about that possibility (e.g. during the middle ages the governments of all European countries knew about the possible weather situation in the Russian empire or the Kingdom of Sweden). I'm missing the information why this particular instance of snow is surprising? Is it the time of the year? Is there more snow than usual? I mean if there is a possibility of a cold winter and people don't have access to modern technology to keep you warm all year long than it generally means that during the winter period things like war would be put on hold and only continue when spring starts again. Wars are planned around the seasons and a neighboring country is very much aware about the general weather patterns of their neighbors.
