CORNBRINGER
I think Alex's limitation is a system. Most likely he is Heavenly, but his vessel does not withstand such great strength and someone gave him a system of gradual development of MC. I could be wrong, but it still seems the most logical to me. Maybe he can do whatever the system gives him, but system just helps him with it and guides him.
Thanks for the chapter. It seems from an outside perspective they're either not aware of the system that Alex has or they perceive it as something that IS Alex and he's just using it to 'limit himself'. I'm curious which choice is correct, seeing as one over the other could lead to a drastic change for Alex. Mind you, the only reason I'm even questioning it is because the OaA is calling it out, so the chances that Alex IS limiting himself are not baseless.
Gotta put my theory, by this conversation we learn that this being who gave alex the system is not the oaa, because he wouldn’t have a companion, and that this companion is not all mighty, from this and by what was told in previous corn’s novel i think that Alex is actually Adam’s son with Estia, this would be in line with the statements that Alex is not mortal, that the Outer Gods would jump at him if not for them being completely outclassed, him putting a limiter on himself and Adam enjoyng isekaing people, maybe he did the other mcs in the other novels to perfect the way to do the same with his son to train him into his best self, but this is just a theory, a CORN theory.
I’m thinking Alex is restrained the same way Sung Jin-Woo (from Solo Levellin) is, but on a much greater scale. Meaning, that Alex isn’t: A: Accessing the full power of the System because he could not handle it just yet. B: Accessing a power dormant in him that could end his existence of he activated it without preparation. In either case, I’m sure it would be an interesting event.
