Arent shadows basicall darkness? Darkness is the absence of light, and shadows exist when there is a path of light that is being blocked, thus creating an area with no light.

Aren’t humans technically doing that already? Plus, since when did all beats want to eradicate all humans? Even the most powerful beasts, Zone Beasts, don’t care about humans as long as they don’t annoy them. Eradicating all beats will severely affect so many things that it’s actually a super bad idea, not a good one.
