bro it's not you're just trying to make him suffer for no reason. I hate when authors throw in an obstacle when it doesn't need to be one. it's like oh there's 10 seconds left to stop the bomb and Bam some guy who was in another country shows up out of nowhere. your main character has access to the Akashic records which knows everything, he has 10% access and your telling me he doesn't have access to information that can cure him

why does the guy not concentrate on mastering occlumency because that would not only help him in classes and spellwork but also it is the required condition to obtain the recipe to the potion which could cure his crippled nerves,
