Thanks for the Chapter. I agree partially with Bomba's criticism. But I do find it interesting at the same time. Maya definitely seems like an interesting addition to his harem and family. Technically she's already part of his family. But you get what I mean. This... is where I hope you sometimes watch what we say and discuss live at times. But I see potential with her. Despite her desires. She really feels like a Vampire more than a wolf. There are good women out there that have their own small harem of dudes. But in this case. Honestly, to me it all felt like overhyping and exagerating Maya, just so she seems more worthy. By this showing and the powers Vic showed, he used a godking level and Maya was able to more than match it. Moreover, she is shown to be like Scathach, as in, a recycled version of her personality. Volk himself is not at Godking level, and much weaker than Vic, yet Vic who is Godking in base form is shown to be equal to Maya?... I don't believe it, as it feels absurd. It only increases my dislike towards her, since she feels like random incel to indirectly nerf Vic in Samar. Vic + Miasma + World tree power = Some Alpha werewolf? Even Scathach is not that strong. Then they lose themselves as if Vic finally found some worthy oponent when even Volk was not in his eyes? It seems like the wolves could have ended the War anytime they wanted honestly, just doesn't match with things. By Kaguya's comment, he would need his Progenitor form to overpower her, which is, again, absurd. Not when Scathach is that much weaker, so much that Runes had to be described as overpowered so she stands a chance.
