I don't understand why the king didn't use his influence to find people with this blood type and turn them to subordinates. Since this blood is known in modern society and it's considered a delicacy in Vampire society, it should've had atleast more than few occurrences in the past. If the king had done this, he would've had atleast a few strong subordinates to fight the war.

Thanks for the chapter! This explains most of Victor's abilities. Also I don't get how the king is a doting father when he ignores his 5 year old daughter ophis to such an extent that she cries due to sadness of longing and he doesn't even probably realize that or he's still ignoring.
