I liked the chapter, but author, I recommend that you don't use the Ren or Kevin death option so much because now we know that both Kevin and Ren can be saved thanks to the book and that will take away the emotion if you repeat it a lot

well ,till the last moment of the last chapter i was like, "No Ren is not gonna die,its not happening" It was actually a shock that he actually died

This was a great plot idea. Cant be used More than once or twice before it feels too Deus ex machina but for now just great stuff.

So I guess Ren did lose the book, I can't see him not trying to use a useful ability for a dangerous mission such as this one
