now im raging along. i cant believe union really did this. is it true or is there something deeper in meaning?

Union must've done it to ease the tension between them and the Monolith since both sides suffered heavy losses and need time to recuperate. No one except Monica and the girls have any idea about his true identity so that makes him the perfect scapegoat for appeasing Monolith, especially after the Union lost one of their leading figure. A fitting political stance in my opinion.

I am guessing union didn't want to ruin their image by letting people know that tasos betrayed them so shifted the blame....

Although it is getting annoying now that pace is slow like reading 2 chapters equals to 1 chapter . Still, I cant wait to see Ren go ham and pull another amazing stunt

thing happing in the union: 1 . they could be trying to track down and protect the individual who assisted them as he did not escape with them so the have no idea if he lived. 2. Could be the second part of the Monalith plan after as the leader of the union is in a coma, and i don't think whomever put the bounty out expected monica to wake-up so soon or care. 3. Could be the blood demon playing games again but with higher stake thats why he abandoned Mathew the lul Ren in to a false sense of sicurity. 4 . None of the above and some wesal of a politcin is seling Ren out to buy time for the old man to wake up.

sorry, but i am not liking this direction. either this gets solved trivially or not, but this is not logical unless the villains are that powerful and if they are that powerful, why arent they the ones in control vs heroes.
