oak said "his daughter just gave birth" in one paragraph and in another daisy informed him her mother is going to give birth soon. an I missing something here? your use of "ho ho" sounds/reads weird. I wish there was no limit to number of moves learned by Pokémon (for all Pokémon, not just MC's); only hard training required.
Nice work. Great to see an MC who doesn't rely on cheats or systems. Hopefully pokemon won't have any arbitrary grades of talent or potential like other fics like to include. Is this your first fic? The dialogue between Oak and Daisy is awkward and not really indicative of how a 5 y.o. child would speak to a close family member. Daisy uses complex vocab and humor that doesn't seem to suit a 5 year old. The conversation also felt scripted and slightly info dumpy. The way you describe length of time also feels unnatural. 5 years is not recent by any means. It's enough time to get both a bachelor and master's degree. Please be more mindful of this in the future, as it's potentially more jarring than scripted dialogue.
I thought that the pokemon would be rare not an alolan vulpix. That's basically the new eevee. Everyone has one. Specially for 500 reincarnation points. With 25 he already received a good body that doesn't get sick and for 40-50 to get friendly with pokemons. But 500 only gets him an alolan vulpix? That should be 20 or 10...In comparison 500 should be something like Articuno or Suicune lol
