Eh. Modern weapons in fantasy setting is not a good sign for story development. Usually it leads to MCs cheating their way through hardship with RPGs and such like...

I really wanna read it but... A shotgun. Are you for real, kinda immersion breaking without any kind of plot or development that makes the introduction make sense in terms of the setting.
