CHAPTER 2
can't believe it's the weekend already" Rose sounded very unpleasant.
"You should be happy beside you'll be having a full weekend with your whole family" I dramatically says getting rose annoyed.
"Your so meanʕಠ_ಠʔ" she puffed her cheek out.
"And your so stupid."
"Your going to the hospital, let me come along cause it's been long since I saw Felix" she says snapping the last bit of patience I had.
"You got to be kidding me!!!" groan to myself, hesitating to get on the bus.
"You getting on or what!!" I look at Rose who of causes was more excited than usual.
"Fine but we won't stay long, I got somethings to do" I tell before she says something stupid later in the day. "Maybe I should draw before we arrive at the hospital" I muttered bringing out a big book that has some crazy drawings in it, but also the best.
We finally arrived at the community hospital. Feeling exhausted and sleepy, I walked directly to my mom's back, hugging her from behind.
"Sweetie, what's wrong?" She asks pushing me away from her body.
"Am so tired mom" I say, nuzzling into her neck. "Then you should have gone home, when you know you were tired" she was obviously right but not when it comes to rose.
"Hello Mrs Jackson" Rose formally greeted my mom, who was already walking away am sure she's busy. "See you girls have some things to do" she says, bouncing in her high heels and white coat.
After my mom was gone we went straight to Felix room who was not even there, now I have to look for him because of Rose who claims she has missed him so much, and am the one who has to do the whole work. We went from one door to another looking for a boy name Felix, as anybody we ask will either tell us "He just pass or I saw him sitting here" maybe when I find him I will cut off one of his legs. "Am already tired Shuri, do you think Felix is hiding from meಥ╭╮ಥ" when I said Rose is stupid I want lying, now I have to comfort her before people thinks am bulling her.
"Maybe he's at the olds people room, you know the place where the old people stay" I said. "Ohh speaks of the devil, here he comesತ_ತ" I point at Felix who if he was not on a wheelchair I would have love to throw a book at his cocky head.
"Felix!!!!" Rose runs towards him then gives him a big hug, squeezing Felix in between her boobs. "Am sure he's enjoying the moment" I say with a sweet smile as I mutter.
"It's nice to see you too Rosa" he quickly got comfortable on the chair that looks like it would fall anytime soon, forcing me to assist him at the back. "What brought you guys here? He asks putting me in a surprise.
"Could you be anymore disrespectful? Tell me is it a crime for us to pay you a visit? Or should we go?" I suggested to Felix who looked like if he had the strength he's gonna smack me.
"What's wrong? Why you on a wheelchair?" Rosa asks catching my attention.
"I fainted earlier, you know the way it normally happens, the doctors says I should be careful unless my heart gonna exploadಠ‿ಠ" is he seriously laughing even when the jokes not funny, but am sure he did that so we won't get worried about him. "I think it's time for Felix to rest" Nurse Kate who's loved by everyone including the old and young in this hospital, but I find her really short and fat.
"But I don't wanna rest" Felix tries to argue with her and God if he starts no one knows when he's gonna end so I let my hand to the justice by dragging up his both ears, till he agrees to go back to his room with red swollen ears.
"When will you guys be starting your exams" Nurse Kate asks as she assist Felix on his bed.
"We've actually already started" I informed her, knowing what her reply would be next.
"I have to go guys, promise to see you before we go on the trip Felix" Rose planted a kiss on his forehead and left the moment she received a call from her mom.
"What does she mean by trip?" Honestly conversation like this is the last I want to find myself in. "Yeah my school is having a two weeks trip for everyone, but sweet me isn't going cause I have a lot of things to do" I say with a rising shoulder.
"You know, you should go have fun when you have the opportunity unless people like us who wish for that opportunity " he laughs, his voice is so calm, making me to feel things like pity for him. "that's why I would stay with you" I laugh before wrapping arms around him in a tight hug. "Yay we will have so much fun!!!! Am gonna use you as a model for my latest collection!!!" I shrieks.
"Does that mean I would be able to go out?" He asks me as I picked his cheeks "trush me if you wanna go out you will, anything is possible when your with the Talented Shuri" I boost fully admire my self with is confused expression.
"Ohh great Shuri, I will worship you for the rest of my life" he says Bowing down on his bed, while I laugh like Cinderella stepmother who has everything under control.
"I think it's pass your bed time Shuri" I tried to hid how offended I am towards Felix personal doctor, who always holds a cup of coffee likes he's trying to stay awake for a competition.
"I'll be going now, bye bye Felix" I waved at Felix who looked like he was going to enter the pit of hell the moment I step out of the room.
FELIX P.O.V.
"Your supposed to be resting, remember your hearts not gonna give you any sigh when's it's gonna shut down" Just listening to Mr Jeff lecture make me imagine if this is what it's like in school, lectures here lectures there, how tiring.
"Your parents will be visiting tomorrow, they said they've found a doctor for you who said your gonna need a heart implants" he says taking a sip from his world best dad pink mug.
"But what if it goes wrong" I replied.
