It’s a little hard to tell if the girlfriend’s feelings are real or if its just because he is handsome, rich, and famous. He’s not very easy to read either and clearly doesn’t let people in easily. I wonder how deep their relationship really is, it seems it might be somewhat shallow. guess we’ll just have to see.

Thanks for the chapter! The relationship between Hua and Alix seems so unhealthy on both sides 😱 While I don't like Alix much so far, no partner deserves to have their existence denied like that. This is especially so if it's for socioeconomic reasons, which seems like it might be the case. If you feel your can't introduce them to your family, and have no intention of marrying them if you might get cut off, let them go so you can both find someone suitable. Don't drag it out and wind up hurting your partner and their prospective future. 😓 Hoping that they both wise up, and break up (because I can't see this being fixable (especially with the novels synopsis 😅)), soon!
