have you thought about having him an apprenticeship alone to boost his skills up to the time cannon start or some time in ANBU he is years older after all because I love your style of his training and detailing it and if he gets in a team I don't think he will have enough time to go to the library or make contacts with other cannon characters. anyway love your story so far
