Finished rereading, I still agree with my old comment. Good idea, awful execution. For example, “villains in stories are alway tanks that are brainless and only know to stand there and be hit by the hero. Or completely unlikable scum with average intelligence and some power. Or the hero’s friend who goes “villain” and then gets redeemed. Because if the people like the villain, the villain gets power and can come into reality to cause trouble.” When MC created the Joker, they’re all like “oh no, that’s very bad! But screw America, we’ll handle the Joker later.” Which could’ve been very interesting! And then the Joker never appeared again after dealing with the Supernova League. Also his reason for helping was “I want to see the world burn”? He literally stopped the world from burning by stopping Supernova. Author has MC constantly complain about other countries copying and butchering their stories, when that’s literally what the author is doing.
so sad I was hooked in the beginning, since that's the first time I've seen a novel like this. The creation of battle royale and scenes in it, made me stayed up all night. But you know what? After all of that, all I can say is Thanks to the author and translator even though the ending sucks, at least It gave me joy in the beginning. -LordChew
eh? the ... end? ... i mean if you cant go on sure i get it you were mostly pulling from pop culture and video games and film to create plot points but this chapter seems a bit rushed like you're just done with the project and if you are a rushed ending is better than no ending. i suppose fans'll be dissatisfied sure but if you want to move on to new stories that could be more original all the power to ya
More interesting than all 2-3k chapters of Immortal Mortal. Better ending than Immortal Mortal. less plot holes than Immortal Mortal. Less lose ends than Immortal Mortal. but the funny part in all of this is the progression is practically the same and the end is more or less the same in a sense....but this character isn't trash.
