reminds me of a newer series that came out about the time knife of never letting go and hunger games came out, hard to remember the name, but the kids seemed ti be trapped I a dome of sorts, where all the kids under 12 or 13 maybe 14??? were in a, well, a fome and when they became to old, the kid literally dissappears, presumed dead, but I'm guessing sent to either another age group or out of the time trap of sorts??? can't remember the name, worst of all I own the books, but don't know where they are.
Of course, in reality, things weren't peaceful at all — and as far from pure as one could imagine.
