one thing that always confuses me is why these novels always give China different names like celestial empires but then keep other countries names the same? or x or y country or huxia. it makes it look like they dont like their country being name China

is it just me or the world building vague with no depth? how is monkey King a protector? does this mean dreams can come true? if that is the case, I also noticed that xiao wan has the same name as the daughter of the guy in prison. like what is happening?

Tbh it just wouldn't be popular in the US due to different cultural values. Much like how us westerners don't particularly value this nationalist train-wreck of a chapter, while the author, presumably, does.
