Just putting this out there. When you’re doing thoughts all you need is two singular quotation marks at the beginning and end of the thought to mark out a difference or you can just write in third person limited and be clear that the only perspective in the chapter is the main character’s. Ex. ‘I knew I was right.’ Ex. He knew he was right. The treaty was just a ploy. The fool believed him still, but he remained silent as the others spoke. He played his part as was expected of him. Another thing your system talking should be stylized differently to denote when it is speaking. Ex. [System update in process] Also you should separate your dialogue each character gets a new paragraph. Sometimes you start a character’s dialogue while still attached to a previous one and it throws it off. Well thats just my advice from what I’ve seen so far take it or leave it.
