Thanks for the chapter, I like this fanfic because it's interesting, simple as that. In spite of that, some chapters irritate me that follow the plot too much, leaving kindred only of the spectator as the duel in public squares or kindred not being able to damage the soul devourer. If it was a fanfic with a better timeline I would understand the author writing these filler chapters, but with a super slow release fic like this the author could at least avoid filler chapters and follow the canon excessively like that.
