The legacies aren't just making you a God. They are there so that, when you become a God yourself, you also gain the additional power of whichever legacy you have earned. From what I recall, Spirit Bones can do both. Normal ones always spawn externally, and need to be integrated. External Bones can be either, with it just being more common for the bone to go to whoever gets the Ring.

Except it is specifically stated multiple times in the beginning, his Grass is a Tool Spirit. If it were a Beast Spirit, it would involve a physical transformation.

To my knowledge, Roy was cloned something like 2 years prior to the start of YJ. So yeah, he's totally cloned. At the minimum, he was cloned by the time the Team formed.

He doesn't have a wheel. Hard to Kill re-adapted, remember, and got rid of that part. Additionally, he adapts to negative *and* positive effects. Meaning healing himself would be bad, because he would start resisting the healing.
'I should work on increasing my control and trying to achieve Black Flash. Which was... surprisingly hard to do. Internet wasn't all that well developed yet, meaning that even doing the most basic things that modern people do requires a large amount of computing power. Not to mention the computers of this age looked like giant cardboard boxes to Shuichi. But that might just be due to him living all his life in the modern era. Couldn't he endure his needs and gain a resistance to starvation, dehydration, suffocation, and pretty much anything else? I feel like he could adapt to where a single breath can sustain him for hours, if not days, a single meal a year is enough, and he can go sleepless for decades if needed.
