I wanted him to be more of a cat than change him into some human cat that he will probably changed to become a "human that follow the rules of society" I mean the fun of the novel was him being a house cat that is a king.... now he is like a human cat that is transforming himself a human in the society, idk its sad the change
LOVE the change of perspectives actually, it gives your world a more robust foundation and your characters even more so in preparation for the future of this story. I must have forgotten to mention that I commend you for not giving the reader any information overload despite the change of perspectives. My heart goes out to Gregory already and we’ve only just met him in this chapter! I would indeed like to see more of this style in the future.
