so far this novel is all tell no show. no world shown. no cultivation shown. no training shown. no affinity practice shown. it is literally commentary by people about what happened rather than showing what happened. it's impossible to write a good novel this way.

I appreciate how you show him struggling with insecurities and inadequacies pushed in him by others.But his struggle is to keep himself positive about the future, while working hard to prepare for the future.

its progress has been a bit slow buhhh it's interesting and I love the fact that it doesn't remove parents. most novels get rid of parents to not have anything holding the main character down but this novel shows that parents can be part of the protagonist's growth
