trash MC. Trash story. Sorry to be harsh, but I hate the coward already. he was a coward that got his mom killed and abandoned his sword to run away in terror instead of fight the monster that was attacking. he's no defender. he's not even an MC. Not in any book I would read. he's got no reedeeming characteristic. who cares if he gets cheats later. it's just a loser with cheats.

that's what happens when you do useless things like ignore magical powers and disarm yourself and abandon your weapon. if he had balls he would have taken responsibility, picked up the sword, and died fighting for his mother like a real man.

oh yes. just what we need. another academy story after the author just explained how the MC hated this academy and learned nothing from it. watch him jump into this academy, forgetting all the edgy posturing that he's been doing.

um, why doesn't he just say, " I'm an immature edgelord that hates the world. I don't care, even though I really, really do. I'm going to pretend not to care, then try really hard on the test.

Michael chose not to ignore the soreness and pain all over his body. He would rather go home and ponder over his dream from earlier. The dream was permanently etched in his mind, and it continued to nag him, making him feel restless. It was bothersome and distracted him a lot.
