that pearl is total trash. it's only function, to improve affinity, doesn't actually do anything. i feel anyone could travel the world to get new affinities through experience. that's how it goes in every single cultivation novel. this pearl is garbage.

But the rival flags waving over Jonas rn....

I like that it’s very difficult to upgrade his talent so he can gain a little more character development and we can slowly get more world building rather than a rushed story where he’s op after one year.

someone hates his slow progress meanwhile I'm loving the fact that it ain't all on a silver platter and he's actually struggling... I read way too many power up/chapter for whatever excuse the author comes up with and seeing an MC struggle is like a breath of fresh air for me honestly but to each his own

I would also like to start off by saying, “I know I’m commenting on old chapters. Therefore, I’m aware most issues are probably fixed.” Yet, do books not exist in their world? As he could understand and comprehend most these affinities by readings and understanding how they work and function. After all every element is a part of nature and I’m sure others have wrote about them. Or Grey could look within himself, display his element, or even mediate and ponder about his element. I don’t know maybe I’m comparing other novels and I should stop.
