I think it would be interesting to have either an energy based species that can combine with the machines or some kind of cyborg like beings where they modify themselves to be able to use the energy on their bodies

So the continent has a finite limit of mana to operate with. So why not create a type of people that are renewable or able to boost the mana output. Making a people that are able to produce a massive amount of mana overtime. Maybe a plant like people?

Fae would be a good race to use to give more nature to the already technological society he has built from the ground up

maybe a creativity based species, gnomes and goblins, maybe dwarves. a species that can create and imagine things that darius don't expect. sure a crafting species, (maybe super mana manipulation. mana painting, mana vocalized songs. not magic, just manipulation for effects)

The species has to be able to utilize mana in a way where it does not enter their bodies since that is the rule of Gravitas, I personally would like to see an evolution based survival of the fittest continent where the strong get stronger by defeating and consuming their rivals then evolving to become better sort of like a beast kingdom and Darius rules since the strongest rules the kingdom and they all recognize Darius as the strongest, but that does not utilize the mana rules of Gravitas so idk.
