I'm not feeling Gemma to ever touch the heroine spot. Reason: She is too much in ppl's business even though its born out of good intentions it doesn't mean its something you want. They get on your nerves a lot. Irrelevant reason but valid in my case, she a redhead which reminds me of anime harem heroines which sometimes just annoy me so much, either they are a tsundere(I wanna punch one in the throat) or too nice (They pushovers)
So, why is the MC considered a psychopath when all he did was attack those who have beat him to death and left him for dead. This is not the modern world where there are courts and judges. This is a world where they tell you on day one in the academy to not trust the other students because they may end up betraying you or killing you. Then they came back and tired to burn down his house and left his sister there to die in the fire. On top of that he only defend himself against his dad with new abilities he didn't even know how they worked. It is obvious that his dad would end up dying when he started beating his son, who was just beaten to death and barely survived due to luck. He snapped while being beaten. Meaning he was no longer going to sit there and allow his dad to keep beating him and doing nothing to protect himself. He finally had the strength to protect himself and did so. Non of that equals a psychopath.
