Since Qew has a body guard, then i assume Kay also had a guard. Where was the guard when he was kidnapped? Unless he didnt have one,or i forgot what happened, in that case disregard.

thanks for the chapter, i really like progressive story, but i think a little sprinkle of humour and/or character engagement would do wonder to this story, like, instead of just glossing the bodyguard as a "loyal & trustworthy person", to what extent that even means, loyal to the family? or to qew alone? maybe explore her character a bit while using soul eyes, maybe she's putting her guard up on you, i mean, the "miracles" that you've done, surely she's at least suspicious that mc's kind of cult follower or something.
