Im groaning at the lack of thought the mc put into his life. He couldve lived without stealing and simply worried about his magic and grew stronger through looking through the ring materials, but he decided to steal instead. It makes no sense that the old man wouldnt give him a weapon in the ring, or at least learn through manuals in the ring.
