I was really hoping he’d continue to be blind or at least be forced to find a solution on his own. I would have even settled for moody’s eye. This is just a lazy waist of a promising plot point. Don’t tease your reader with something actually interesting if your not willing to commit to it.

honestly the blind thing could have worked you could have worked him getting phoenix eyes from bonding with sol through time, I think that would have been more impactful to be honest. it would have also been a nice twist as I have never seen a fan-fic do it.(from my knowledge correct me if I am wrong)
