Honestly he should try and convince his sponsor that he doesn't have to commit evil for the sake of being evil, Liu Bian is a protagonist but obviously evil, why does he have to be a Neutral/Evil villain? Honestly it is usually better when the villain has the moral high ground, even more so when Righteous sects exist and the protagonist may have them as a backing but if Cao Mao is viewed as the morally superior party those sects wouldn't have the face to try and kill him in revenge, especially with multiple Nascent Soul experts and probably a soon to be Dao Soul expert on his side.

Think about Cao Mao s children came to war against Zhao Bao because of call of the Orc King Sutra . LOL . Little thiny phuchy time .

I also thought of this but that Holy Flame element that would have become Xie Tian's primary element can probably deal with the curse. It is probably a combination of Fire and Light, and if it was good enough to be the primary element of a Protagonist it is by no means weak. Plus I'd personally like him to have the primary elements the protagonists were supposed to have as it would signify Cao Mao's conquests, the Holy Flame symbolizes his victory over Xie Tian, Some higher version of Gold to symbolize him making Ma Moxie his subordinate, some advanced Shadow element to symbolize his victory against Liu Bian and overthrowing a dynasty. Even the Chloro element being his primary would symbolize the true beginning of his journey starting in the Dryad Plane where he killed Xie Tian.

Thanks for the chapter We got information on the light element and it being connected to the force ability, as well as luck. That makes me wonder it the darkness element will have a connection with the dark side of the force and curses? Cao Mao’s Orc King bloodline is a curse, maybe his baby daemon body is also a curse? In any case he should still learn the next volumes of those techniques to further strengthen himself. I think the reason his sponsor makes Cao Mao hunt protagonist is so he can obtain their heavenly fate and offset the bad luck from all the curses in his body.

Here are praises and concerns: 1. Didn't think that one of the Buddhist disciples was a monster beast. If he really is an imp, he is practically guaranteed into becoming a demon (when looking at his intelligence and very human-like form)......On the other hand, he would normally evolve into an Incubus or other related demon, but his Buddhist cultivation might change his evolution route..... Interesting, indeed. 2. Mmm, considering how complex the cosmological systems of Samsara and Karma can be, leave it to a past incarnation of Siddhartha Buddha to encourage simple acts of kindness as a method to invoke some Laws relating to fortune. lol. Well, a drop of kindness does have the power to start waves. Just don't forget that there are a variety of Bodhisattva, devas, and other entities in their religious cosmology that can be learned from or mimicked. 3. The curse is actually surprising, but then again, we readers should have paid more attention to how wierd it was that Cao Mao could cultivate the body strengthening techniques of demons without any backlash. The truth was that we just didn't notice the bad side effects yet. However, that was a nice surprise to show that a body strengthening technique could corrupt the soul as a side effect. 4. For those who don't know, Karma is something more than simple "what comes around goes around." It comes from one's intentions and actions, determined the next life within Samsara, affects each person's providence, connects each person with another, chains them to desires, and so much more. The Buddhist Path uses Karma to instead break free from their chains. 5. Is the Rabbit-kin actually related to Jade Rabbits associated with Chang'e (AKA Princess Kaguya)? If its lineage really goes relate, Cao Mao would have encountered some ironic twists of fate. After all, he met a person named Chang'e and a person related to the moon rabbits in the same city, and both meetings have caused a significant shift in future. 6. Don't forget to use a variety of names whenever a rave evolves. Instead of just adding"queen" or "king" to a race, DamnPlotArmor-sama can change the name completely or partially. For example, orc could be descendents of the Orcus race (which are known as the demonic torturers of evildoers), and one of the evolution paths for imps are Succubus and Incubus.
