I'm considering dropping this at the end of the month. This story feels like it's going absolutely nowhere. There hasn't been any meaningful development for ages, and now we've wasted more than 40 chapters on a meeting about who has the qualifications for some meaningless title. I miss the early days where there was actually progression in the story. This just feels like a waste of time.
Yeah, there is so much wasted text. Everytime a woman is introduced we get half a chapter dedicated to explaining how outrageously beautiful they are. The constant head hopping and peanut gallery also wastes a lot of text. And the world building is just ridiculous at this point. I really appreciate good world building usually, but this is way too much. We don't need to know the backstory of every rock in the universe.
Absolute_Winter:I think the problem is that it feels like each chapter is only one scene.
