Considering how much larger WW's literal cultivation is in terms of energy, spiritual force, and all that jazz... When a character with far inferior energies is able to withstand or overpower WW, there is a subtle disappointment since that's technically a failure in plot development. The instances that would allow for a cultivator in his same level, both being 6th Phased, to actually match him is literally impossible. It is repeatedly stated every time WW's cultivation is mentioned how absurdly beyond everyone he is and hopefully these low tier cultivators from the Aeternal Starfield aren't capable of matching him while being the same level because it makes absolutely no sense unless something very specific like the heavens is directly powering them up or they have vastly more experience which definitely just occurred with this fight. It was a great deflection by the enemy to counter WW's stomp but I hope that the rarity and impossibility that has been created through hundreds of chapters describing the insanity and reaches of cultivation aren't contrived yet. Aeternal Starfield shouldn't be capable of having figures rivaling WW without it being related to the heavens. It will feel extremely contrived if he otherwise begins fighting multiple figures in the same realm as him evenly and they have literally a fraction of all his energies.
So many incredibly silly comments on one chapter The comments are so bad I want to question how you lot read books. As if there haven't been enough flags in the previous chapter that this person was going to be exceptional A refresher for people who lack comprehension. 1. A possible internal world 2. Armaments that an ES couldn't see through. 3. Detailed knowledge of the stellar nest 4. An extremely powerful body, that incredibly fast movement was evidence of this. 5. Even more knowledge about astral idols than Wei Wuyin, they know about the ultimate astral idol 6. Knowledge on Saint rings and Spiritualists With all this information provided in the previous chapters did you think the cultivator was going to be easy to walk over Do you think WW is only one who would have come across legendary opportunities ? You've forgotten there are also blessed in this starfield, a starfield that is more advanced than the previous, do you think if they maximise their opportunities in such a starfield they wouldn't be terrifying ?????
……. I’m still think that WW is still going to win but thats not the issue here, I kinda understand that WW is extremely powerful cuz of his foundations and as well as being a powerful alchemist, but how did this dude prince getting so far without a power alchemist backing him up and supply him with good quality pills? Since we all knows that not any ordinary alchemist could do that and we all have seen it how WW just send across planets like it was nothing when he’s ascended/breakthrough. What Im trying to say is that this prince is either very talented with too much of an advantage as a blessed or just another BS character Kevin coming up with so he could just be an obstacle for WW. Well we’ll wait and see Ig.
Agreed with the comments here. The amount of ”flowery” exposition of how vast the MC’s foundation and everything else at is disposal has suddenly become muted and frankly laughable. It’s important to have antagonists that can make the MC have to go through hurdles and actually be a point of growth for the MC but this entire chapter seem forced at best. You can make the argument about fate and blah blah blah but we all understand that “fate” in this case is just a vague concept to mask the plot, i.e. this character is powerful because… fate. It frankly feels lazy and with this story, I am usually fine with it and have immensely enjoyed the story all this time. However this time, just feels ridiculous. This entire fight seems contrived and silly to be honest.
i kinda understand these comments why they seem to be kinda complaining in this chapter, because besides mc's cultivation stagnated for how many chapters, then suddenly this. it does kinda feel weird considering those showy words about the ww's foundation. We might've just expected ww to overpower everyone in his same generation, we were just too used to seeing that since it was like that from the start of the novel. Sothecomments... But regardless of those things. Thanks for the chap still waiting for the powerup and face macking time.
Disappointing. What's the point in the readers being patient with the slow power progression in this novel if the MC can still be challenged in the same cultivation realm by random masked characters. I get he'll be a blessed of some sort but defeats the point of all the tiresome accumulation and effort if we can't even get this type of payoff.
I see mainly one guy and a couple other forgetting some things. You overlook multiple major differences. Wuyin has broken the mainstreams of cultivation multiple times. He has 4 sources for his cultivation. Has broken the ’limit’ of multiple stages. And has had his body refined to reach the limit of the 4 astral souls that are again, pushed beyond the norm. Having this guy as an equal at the same cultivation stage is insane. Especially when talking about how each cultivation stage is supposed to be a huge difference in power level. Yeah they’re the same stage but having broken multiple peaks of multiple cultivation stages, a world intent, 9 apex intents in his elemental intent, and his saber? It doesn’t follow any logic unless this guy is from a starfield multiple tiers above event the one the King Of Everlore is in rn or he’s also a temporal reincarnator from a bigger starfield.
