No, she was mentioned during talks about who Wei had marked as important figures, hence his desire to give her a position of power in her starfield. he listed a bunch of names and her name was amongst them. Also, she was the Earthly Saint who went into the chaos void thing and was injured and healed by Wei due to that old man from Golden Pavilion with 9 runes forgot his name...
This chapter is a good example of what we expect filler to be. so much inuendos and small bits of hidden information were transmitted in this seemingly simple and shallow conversation where almost nothing of actual progression in the overarching plot moved, it was still good. no useless, re-phrasing, hunks of symantics to needlessly increase the word count to meet requirements. Thanks for the chapter, In hope you don't get offended by any criticism I give or others give, and just realize we are deeply invested into your novel and we can separate your good writing and your bad writing due to how deeply we are invested. Good work!
Feels like a lot of filler, unnecessary descriptions that have already been used for over 50+ chapters repeatedly. Many things do not need to be regurgitated ad nauseam, if many chapters or an entire arc has gone by since the first explanation then a small reminder or footnote related to its original explanation is all we need.
WW isn't stuck, he just hasn't packed his bag to the brim enough. He is waiting to use his mist aswell now that he discovered that aspect of pill concocting, so all his previous plans to make pills to min-max his cultivation need that on top of it I would assume. The biggest weakness is his total ignorance towards actual spells and techniques, his repertoire right now is very linear without much variety.
Considering how much larger WW's literal cultivation is in terms of energy, spiritual force, and all that jazz... When a character with far inferior energies is able to withstand or overpower WW, there is a subtle disappointment since that's technically a failure in plot development. The instances that would allow for a cultivator in his same level, both being 6th Phased, to actually match him is literally impossible. It is repeatedly stated every time WW's cultivation is mentioned how absurdly beyond everyone he is and hopefully these low tier cultivators from the Aeternal Starfield aren't capable of matching him while being the same level because it makes absolutely no sense unless something very specific like the heavens is directly powering them up or they have vastly more experience which definitely just occurred with this fight. It was a great deflection by the enemy to counter WW's stomp but I hope that the rarity and impossibility that has been created through hundreds of chapters describing the insanity and reaches of cultivation aren't contrived yet. Aeternal Starfield shouldn't be capable of having figures rivaling WW without it being related to the heavens. It will feel extremely contrived if he otherwise begins fighting multiple figures in the same realm as him evenly and they have literally a fraction of all his energies.
1 chapter a day is good as long as it consistently occurs. If you can sprinkle in extra chapters for hyped up parts of the story, then I would be happy. But don't feel forced, grateful for the consistency so far. It must be much easier and less stressful/taxing on you now compared to how many chapters you were forcing out before your break earlier. I love seeing WW tossing people in his generation around like toys!
I truly respect loyalty and more than anything, the commitment to remain resolute. Especially in a woman, being able to stay true to your word or to pay back someone's kindness wholeheartedly is so attractive. This Wen Migna just shot through the roof in my favorites, hopefully she gets more fleshed out and becomes a huge part of the harem. Also, welcome back Author-sama, glad you could get some relaxation and time to yourself to destress. Thanks for the releases. <3
true, but he is definitely outside of fate himself. it is entirely on his family being affected by the world and his actions that he solely has to focus on, which is definitely even more difficult than if fate was aware of him alone. it's definitely why we all appreciate his morality and compassion for his family so much.
The entire topic of fate was already explained with the alchemist wife, he is outside of fate's grasp due to fallen heaven's influence and negation. Due to fallen heaven, he is not capable of being seen by Heaven Seers and such, among the dozens of other interactions and subtle ways he has greatly triggered fate to be re-aligned, among his ability of misdirection. The author is probably only keeping them alive for some plot in the future, minor or maybe a dramatic twist; But the true power of FH is the fact that they have no idea how his method works truly, not even Myria who is aware of the existence of fallen heaven. Exposure of any methods would seem counterintuitive to reveal atm regardless.
