The last time he teased his girlfriend she relived a traumatic experience and got eaten by a monster. MC beat himself up over her experience and swears something about never letting it happen again. Now he is clearly in the wrong yet he is toying with her feelings and teasing her while positioning himself in love triangle scenario. Guess he didn’t really care about his girlfriend after all. He has some soul searching to do. He only just admitted he loves her yet he has already sworn a commitment to another woman under the guise of friendship.

Why would someone invite a third wheel during a date. Even as a shut in you would not :o he read so manh book and still :o

The lack of narrative or inner monologue makes this chapter feel really hollow and void of emotion
