I'm glad Quinn stayed till Layla reached an advanced age and raised his family, yet I feel so sad for Minny and Galen going on without their father and all those who lost vampirism. So bittersweet, but can any ending not be such? This has been an incredible journey, I'm going to not only miss this story, but also all of you who've been reading this story with me, love you guys and gals đđ!!
I had a feeling that Quinn would wait then enter an Eternal Slumber chamber. I love that even though Layla obviously aged Quinn still loved her the same as the day they met, and all the little things he said to Minny and Galen. It sad to see that Ray didn't get back in contact with Quinn as well, because at least he could of found out a little more a out the Talen name, but I suppose we'll just have to wait and see how that plays out. I'll admit I had a feeling that Bliss would turn up on Quinn's last day, kind of like how she did with Ray, but I was surprised to see Richard back, especially with him working alongside Bliss, but I think that more because of not knowing how hes still around.Thank you JKS for this amazing story, and I look forward to reading the rest of the series in the future, but I think I speak for most of you dedicated fan when I say that I'll be going back to the start to read it all again.
Well, another relatively unsatisfying ending. As much as it feels like I am walking away before we conclude Quinnâs story, I canât keep reading this author. The lack of consistency and disappointing, rushed endings is just not something I will support. 2500+ chapters only to be wrapped up with fighting the god of death and leaving his family in like 8 chapters. Feels just like MDS, disappointing.
Quinn has decided to go into eternal slumber. He was able to watch Minny and Galen grow up more and love Layla for more years together. Finding out about Richard was a small shock at the end but only a little. Sweet dreams Quinn and thank you for everything!! I have enjoyed this story immensely. Itâs cliffhangers and intense scenes were what kept me interested but the story itself is why I couldnât stop reading it. Well done JKS and thank you for a wonderful piece of work, one that I truthfully canât help but read from the beginning and start over. Wishing you luck on your future projects!
JKS I love your works but the ending are heartbreaking. Still glad Quinn took 15 years with his family but that is still too short and kind of cruel after they all went through it once. Plus knowing Layla I think she would have considered what Quinn was going through and ask to be turned to stay with him after seeing he doesn't change till they are both ready to go into eternal sleep. Same with Minny once she grew up and realised what fate has in store for Quinn. I can't see any of his family being ok after realising he is trapped in immortality as he doesn't change more so as more experienced ex vampires could tell them stories about it.Honestly feels the system coned him with the reward here by protecting him from the clawback. If it didn't Quinn likely would have aged and lived a normal human life and pass with his family. The fact that the system is making him go through this bugs me.Also Ray not showing up would have been a great way to make up for MDS ending. Ray who has gone through leaving his own family comes back in time with the missing ability tablet. Quinn gets a human body while his body/powers is absorbed into it adding the shadow, family abilities and a blood control to the pool of abilities humans can have while the tablet also acts as a prison for Immortui's soul.Though honestly thought this would be the end seems Quinn is planned to come back in the future. Honestly thought the Talen quest was just forgotten, though it has hinted how special they are. Remember Ray was one of those existences with powers that goes against the rules of the universe so likely they have some special role and that is being passed down in the Talen line.Galen being a playboy is going to leave a trail of broken hearts. Wonder if the final book will be about him and the celestial system.
I love your works JKS but this felt so rushed. I get that you have other things planned for Quinn, but really only 15 years? So minus the 1000 years he was sleeping, it would mean heâs really only lived to like 35 years old or so. Doesnât seem right (or make sense) that someone so young wouldnât want to or get to live more life. He doesnât want to watch his children grow up? Or help Galen through his journey as a celestial? How can he abandon his children / (future grandchildren ) and not be there or support or help protect them, even for just a normal amount of life span? It just doesnât fit his character. What about all the other loose ends/ other characters ? No closure on anything? You did my boy Fex dirty, what about his son? Feels like MDS all over again. Please donât rush the ending of MWS, Gary is such a good character.
It kind of sucks that he went into eternal slumber but I guess he was tired. The thing is Galen is immortal because he is a celestial so he will be left alone eventually. And Quinn still has inmortuis crystal in his shadow. He will either comeback somehow or something happens that forces Galen to take the crystal into himself, becoming the God of death.
JKS, once again I want to thank you for this story. I had stopped reading for a very long time due to life circumstances. Your story, revived my love of reading. From the very first chapter, I was hooked! Now I'm reading other interesting stories. Thank you again, and I can't wait for the next two books! Blessings on your journey.
