great chapter! can't wait to find out who this sword is... however ... in russ hands this could be bad for Quinn. for him to so easily take out pine! I'm sure Russ will be too week to use this on H, hopefully some more help arrives soon. I wonder how Geo, Nock / Chris , Peter are doing. .things are heating up. I hope Quinn (and Alex) make it soon.

This seems to be going into a double all or nothing fight. H vs Sil. Ray vs Quinn. Both fights will likely occur at the same time, each unable to help the other.

I like the hype and really hoping we see Layla able to take her own version of that form where instead of transforming she makes the power her own. It would be a great power up for her as the sword not letting her properly use her Qi, Blood Aura and ability has always been a major weakness of it. If Layla can use all her abilities along with the sword's own power that she could possibly surpass the original owner. Hope we see that before the book ends as I am sure Layla after seeing the true power of the sword would want to grow strong enough to use it one day.
