That's a very fair point, and under normal circumstances, I'd completely agree. but rn they're preparing for that tournament, which i believe would have them desperate enough to risk not being able to control him. not that any of this matters with him taking a different path

honestly with the way people in this world are raze probably could have just showed the principal that he was still strong enough to kill not only the 3 physicians but also the red head band teacher and the principal would have just went with it

i never thought i would agree with midwalk. i understand why gary does wanna turn people but at the same time he should atleast give everyone going into this fight the choice of becoming a werewolf first

ik he is and for the most part i love all of his books. it just doesnt make any sense to me why something like this would be added into the book and then not used for so long.and i get not waiting to turn those closest to him but half of them are already turned so that point becomes kinda mute. he could just explain to every that he can turn them into an alter but there a higher chance of death and let everyone choose for themselves

im sorry, but gary is an idiot. i understand his morals are whats keeping him from turning people into werewolves, but in this situation, they need as much strength as they can get. he basically has a free cheat code to not only make his gang strong by creating an untold number of "altered" but also make himself stronger and the core members. i know people can die instead of becoming a wolf, but if they decided to turn, say, 50 people into wolves and 5 died, they'd still be massivly atronger than when they started

gary needs to start turning people into wolves before he goes after a tier 1. its the easiest and cheapest way to get more altered and itll make he much stronger
