I'm really enjoying this flashback of the side character personally. Poor Jeanne had such a hard life along with her mother, I'm really curious if her mother is still alive somewhere or was found and killed by the people I'm guessing were after her

Interesting to get some background on some of the side characters, but still not sure how invested I am in their back story. At this point they could all get wiped out by a random meteor and I'd be more eager to see what the MC did in response.

Fun ride so far. Hope we get a glimpse of something that will justify her Mom's actions. She seems like a loving mother and a generally nice person. I just somehow feel that she's delusional or maybe a tad bit overzealous. Thanks for the chappie.
