I would suggest physical therapy. I threw out my back this year doing tire flips and last year doing lat rows. They'll put a warming device on you and show you some good stretches. Helps with the recovery.

I mean, you wouldn't exactly be able to write well with that kind of injury, not to mention possible long term complications if it's not taken care of and rested. Absolutely not a problem for you to stop writing in order to heal, anyone who disagrees is a fool. Love to see you back, but I'd rather wait longer if you're still recovering
