I must say, I’m a bit concerned about the pacing. While the Ordeals are fun and very well written, they do little in terms of real story progression. The mirror universe was described as a massive place, it will need quite a few chapters for decent world building and plot lines in different places. Unless most of the story is going to play out on their planet. However, sofar we haven’t seen much of that either. If I got this right, barely a few months have passed after 400+ chapters and all ordeals are chained after one another. The diplomatic immunity lasts for 5 years though. What’s with interracial and interplanetary conflic? Shouldn’t the ordeals be an addiction to the story instead of the main focus point?

I really enjoy seeing the team work together. It feels they are taking the trial more seriously and more concious of the consequences of underperforming.

I was thinking of what could be a potential rewars to jake and here’s my hypotheosis : my guess is that the organ helping him manipulating the fluid will evolve when it reach the grandmaster stage or beyond, granting him a « third eye » able to predict the near futur.
