Don't you think it's frustrating to pay for privilege just to get a few chapters a month where not much happens? Don't you think it's frustrating that after almost 900 chapters we are still in the fourth ordeal(the tutorial) with a lot of focus on the meaningless fights of weak characters that will just be revived by the oracle at the end of the ordeal? I'm dropping this novel until the end of the the next ordeal, if the author himself don't care about this novel and is focusing all his attention to write his new novel why should I care?

I kind of agree with you, but I don’t think the problem is this chapter specifically. I believe that what is making things frustrating is the way that the plot is being handled in the past 15 chapters or so. It seems like the author has fallen into the classic pitfall of biting more than one can chew. And by portraying what was happening to a large number of characters that the reader doesn’t have much attachment towards it ended up causing the story to feel convoluted with a lot of screen time dedicated to different characters yet lacking substance in any of the individual fights that were happening at the same time. I don’t know what other people think, but at this point I just want to see the end of this ordeal and the story moving on.

As a shameless 5 stars review by the author seems to be the way to go here, here goes mine. So please bear with me for a couple of paragraphs so that I can give you a glimpse of what to expect from my novel. First let's talk about the magic system. My intention is for it to be quite well defined and leave little to the imagination when it comes to power levels, but without presenting it for the reader in a way that is too direct. For details you will have to read the first arks since it would be too long to explain all of that here. As for the MC, don't expect him to be good or evil. At the beginning he is just a normal guy with some nihilist tendencies and plenty room for further development. Now when it comes to romance, it will happen in its due time. Neither sooner nor later. Be warned, though, that it won't be a harem if that's your cup of tea. Action and battles will happen only when diplomacy is not an option, which will be the exception rather than the rule. Magic will play a key role in those battles and will be a decisive force that, when used, chances are that whatever is on the receiving end won't see the light of another day.
