All that data collecting scares me... What kind of great plan would make someone catalog a WHOLE UNIVERSE????? You can get what you want with a Oracle, but it can also gets what it wants from you!

This is new. The problem is, in line with the context, the population should be educated in this era. Then, their outlook in life is by far the same or greater than what we have today. So, if everyone gets an oracle, wouldn't everyone wants to get everything? I can only see chaos in the future with the Oracle. Nobody would want to farm, nobody would like to work in diners, nobody would like to be a driver, janitor, sales lady, construction worker, security guard,etc. even engineers, teachers, doctors and lawyers would stop in their job because they would want more. We are humans. How can economy, peace and order, and hierarchy be maintained? A surgeon would want to rule the earth, would oracle make guidelines for him so he can become the best surgeon then? He can't rule the earth after that. So, oracle would make him do other things which is logical. Who would do surgeries in the hospital then? Other surgeons? Who would want to be a surgeon anymore when Oracle can guide you to the path you Desire the most. Maybe it would start small, like just the best surgeon, but people's greed would surface later on. One's desire would grow bigger as his scope of life grows.

If everyone can do it, it is no longer special. If you can predict how to get to your goal and if someone else predicted how to stop you to get to your goal then what you would get is a bunch of chaotic mess. This is no bigger than an ai that gives u suggestions

Very cool concept, cruel though since Oracle already knows every choice everyone will make and who will succeed its almost laughable to even offer choices

This Oracle appears to link one to the dreaming aether... curious that you've managed to dictate these symphonies with such avid and beautifully simple writing, to liken them to a game. I love it!
