Well.. to be honest, I don't mind, traps or Genderbend as long as the MC is male and is the one being active.

It really depends on the personality of the genderbendee or trap because the readers will already know he/she is really a male so it gets harder to accept. Personally i like The relationship of ray and nik the way it is their situations collide and it gets harder for nik to make friends along the way to becoming stronger eith him offending lots of people. id rather read a genderbend story than a trap story... for example a woman that suddenly find herself in the body of a man! how will she act? will she still be into man or now like women? theres many genderbend about men turning into women! but what about women turning into men?

Honestly, there are traps that everyone think as a girls, but with somethin more under her skirts, life astolph, that cat "girl" in re zero, as long as nik doesn't go around picking up all the cute "boys" and genderbender them like he did with lucifer, boys who dress up as girls and consider themselves girls are ok with me, as long as they don't have dicks

well i may be wrong but most of your readers doesnt seem like the kind that enjoy this kind of MC,we like ray because he is a secondary character,and his comedic interactions with Nik,but the thing we enjoy reading is Nik,the shameless *** fiend who loves all woman

I agree with the sentiment of keeping Nik with his current preferences. Traps is a hot button and will generate too much backlash. I also support you creating a new story with trap/trans romantic partner although I'm not familiar with those gamess?/works.
