Yayyyy finally the plot of this arc. I'm so excited for it! I definitely get what you're going for here- I'm watching the newest season of drag race and we've had our first contestant that was a straight cis man who just likes doing drag. There is definitely a lot to be explored here and I can't wait to read.
I quite like this chapter, I really really hope to see Alaric being praised. Tbh, I quite like reading your views on different topics like how jia hyson talked about the spark of motivation or ur reply to comments talking about how the mother handled the situation in the previous arc the pets and in this chapter as well. Anyways, looking forward to this arc💕💕
Ah the way that author treated Alaric made me so angry. I was born female but my gender is fluid, and yet besides it all and before I even understood it, I always was afraid of being femenine when presenting as a woman. It might sound strange, but I felt like if I did show I liked cute stuff and 'femenine' stuff people would immediately see me as a woman. And even despite not understanding this properly, I didn't want my gender to be assumed like that. Just because of my clothes or how much femenine I looked. In fact, when I present masc I feel more attracted to 'femenine' kind of things and it's a struggle because of being born female. What happened to Alaric made me feel bad, besides how bad of a person he was, the fact he was hated and disliked because of this 'femenine' or 'masculine' stuff thing. So frustrating. I'm glad the theme was touched carefully and properly, I was a bit afraid there would be discrimination since I tend to read many stereotypes with ignorant things in webnovels, which I don't want to blame too much on the authors since some cultures even while in globalisation and modernity don't have much about these topics.
