This is what you called degression of plot, forcing a certain situation and decision just to make it more interesting, which usually have an opposite effect. This will give the reader a bad experience at reading and usually drops it after a couple more chapter. You actually have an amazing start, like it was interesting, thinking this is probably a gold, but wait, its just a fools gold.
I’m fine with him reincarnating as a snake but please give his reasoning because I’m stumped. He didn’t choose humans because he assumed they weren’t unique but snakes are? Also he doesn’t know how long it will take to reach demigod level so if *** is a big motivation for him why would he choose something that could possibly take centuries to achieve. Beyond the ****** logical thought process that a snake would be one of the worst even his motivations don’t line up with his decision
