Your right, I did click on the wrong paragraph, though the section I was referring to is literally the next sentence so even if someone initially didn’t understand they would after a couple seconds of further reading. Also, Maybe English isn’t your first language but my original comment does not read how you claim unless for some reason you believed I worded it incorrectly. But even if you argue that my question sounded the way you claim and the current paragraph supported your argument. I don’t believe the other commenter interpreted it that way. If he did, he would have said “Fire Lord”, as there are no kings in fire nation. You’d have to think my question was worded incorrectly and it wasn’t about the novel for the answer “king” to make sense in the way you intend. I simply don’t see this as a rational train of thought so disagree with your comment.
So there seems to be a ton of fanon going on rn. No where in the series is it even framed that Kakashi's chakra is underdeveloped. The episode where him and Naruto talk about it he states that Base Naruto has 3x his chakra size. Since Naruto is an Uzamaki + has bijuu boost that seems about right for your average elite Jonin(Naruto is continiously framed as having an absurd amount of chakra even in base state). Yes the Sharingan continiously drains his chakra, but there is no actual evidence to support that he would naturally have more chakra than other elite Jonin characters. Also the idea that Kakashi would be so much stronger without the sharingan also seems quite silly. We saw Kakashi with unlimited chakra in the war arc and although he was definitely a match for normal S-ranked characters, he was still wasn't at the level of Itachi, Minato, or revived Nagato. One thing that wasn't mentioned by anyone is that Kakashi would most likely be worse at Taijutsu without the sharingan. With the sharingan he could go toe to toe with figures like base Guy and Kakuzu in Taijutsu and even match base Guy physically (Probably through the same or similar process he used with Sasuke), without it he wouldn't even be able to use his Raikiri. Also him developing proficiency in the 5 basic nature types was due to the copy ability of his eye. It helped his fighting style, which would have been completely different without the sharingan. He probably would just focus on lightning ninjutsu, developing purple lightning earlier or something. But using his mastery over multiple types of nature transfromations is not an argument for anything really. High level characters just focus on their unique abilities, it's diminishing returns for them. I think my fundemental disagreenment is the talent argument. I don't disagree that Kakashi was super talented and a child prodigy comparable to anyone. But at the highest level of power, talent doesn't mean anything. These characters have special bloodlines or a super powerful techniques. You can give Kakashi Naruto level chakra, extra training. He is still being bodied by half the akatsuki. He simply lacks an unstoppable techniques like Minato'mastery of the Flying Thunder God or Sage mode, maybe he develops a technique that surpasses that of any of the Sanin and lets him fight Madara on equal grounds, idk. But that definitely isn't a certainty. Also the idea that Kakashi stopped training after the deaths is also fanon, we honestly don't know how hard he trained but we do know that he mastered the sharingan and his "1000 Jutsu" in between the time period post Obitos death and the start of Team 7. I remember even in OG Naruto there was a clip of Kakashi training and using some of the Gates, though you could argue that is was spurred upon by the Wave arc.
He never took the memories from that sim so he has no connection with her.
Just got a recent notification so I saw this old comment. I am very wrong here. The Kardachev scale is logarithmic meaning that type 1.7 is not 70% the energy of the sun. In fact, it is still less than 1% the energy of the sun.
Not really, the kings guard oath is all about serving, guarding and helping the king. It has nothing to do with the Targaryen family or anything else. When the Mad King died, Barristons loyalty went to the next king and by right of conquest Robert is the next king. He is as legitimate as Aegon was. Any kingsguard who left Robert to serve Viserys would be a turncoat as officially he is just a claimant just like the Blackfyres were.
I’m assuming it’s an invasion against the Jogos Nhai. Invading the Shadow lands is very unlikely unless they really want Asshai for some reason. It’s almost impossible to invade Grey Wastes and crossing the Bone Mountains to invade Qarth or the Dothraki also seems very unlikely. The only other possibilities is a naval invasion against Leng or an invasion through the mountains of Morn to Carcosa to eliminate the Sorcerer Lord.
I feel the author doesn’t understand the geography of Essos. There is no straight route to Meereen from Pentos. You have to loop around the painted mountains or risk going through Northern Valyria. Also it’s either Slaver’s bay or the Summer Sea. And the Dothraki Sea starts on the border of Qohor meaning they already went through half the Dothraki sea just to reach Meereen.
Digitization of Libraries started in the mid 90s and was further fueled by google who made a big push in the early 2000s. Stanford for example digitized their library by 2004 and by 2010. Many colleges have digitized their libraries. But you are right, Oxford digitized in 2015. So the MC would have had to look through paper books.
Well considering recent discoveries and theories regarding the sphinx, the younger dryas, Gobleki Tepe and the ruins near it. Civilization could have started much earlier than previous estimates. Some theories even suggest that it started farther back than 10,000 BCE.
Didn’t see your comment here for some reason. Honestly it felt like an asspull from Kishimoto, he didn’t have to actually meditate to use it in the war arc and both Naruto and Jiraiya both had workarounds he could have used. Maybe he wasn’t clever enough to use clones but summoning the toad sages to gather to gather senjutsu would have been easy for him to do. The prevailing fan theory was that he was simply so strong that he never needed to use it which sounds kinda ludicrous but holds some merit considering how he didn’t break a sweat when fight both A and Killer B, and Obito was defeated and lost control of the Kyuubi in an incredibly short time.
Minato doesn’t have to say it, we see it visually. We are told what perfect sage mode looks like and we see it in Naruto. Just because Minato claims he’s not that good doesn’t mean he’s not. I guess an official source would be like the author for you but he has not made a comment because everyone is in agreement that he is a perfect sage. I’ll reiterate since he doesn’ have frog like features, he is a perfect sage. That is the telltale sign that he has mastered senjutsu. If he has frog like features(or other animal) like Jiraiya, he isn’t.
“Minato's large chakra reserves enabled him to learn senjutsu of Mount Myōboku, enhancing his techniques and physical parameters by entering Sage Mode. He could perfectly balance the natural energy with his chakra, displaying only the orange pigmentation around his eyes and no other physical changes — the true marking of a Sage. “ - From the Naruto Wikipedia. Partial sage mode is what Jiraiya had, Minato showed no frog features and had the same look as Naruto indicating he is a perfect sage. We weren’t told how edo tensei affects senjutsu but during the War Arc he was able to gather Nature energy while outpacing the other Hokage and maintained sage mode for a very long time.
First, Minato is a perfect sage. A quick google search or rewatch of the war arc can clear your confusion. Second, we aren’t sure how Minatos seals work but they work perfectly 16 years after his death and he claims they can never be removed. So I’m sure, just draining the chakra won’t be enough. The paths dealing with souls and chakra are really weak. In fact even kid Konohamaru took one out with a single rasengan. They can probably use their ability once before Minato figures them out and deals with them. Minato is simply to fast to be blitzed by either of them. He was fast enough to recognize Obito’s ability and still teleport away. He’s way faster than Sage Naruto and Pain could never blitz him. If you believe the Raikage then KCM 1 Naruto is around base Minatos speed and that is insane fast. Minatos doesn’t need his knife for seals. He simply needs to touch the paths or wherever to have permanent seals there. The Deva path would be a bit difficult but Minato can always teleport away before he could do any damage and the 5 second cooldown between uses is way to long for Minato. Even Base Naruto was fast enough to overcome the 5 second. This is again not even considering the buffs from sage mode and KCM 2.
Yes, the flying thunder god and his natural speed means that Nagato doesn’t have a move that can definitively defeat Minato. He could also just teleport away. While Minato could spend the fight analyzing pain and taking down the paths. He could probably also just seal them and teleport them really far away removing the utility of the Naraka path. Also Minato is a perfect sage just like Naruto. So even if you lowball base Minato, he can just enter sage mode and destroy pain. The way I see it is that Minato fights pain for a bit until he puts flying thunder god seals on them and then blitzes and kills them all. Since the seal can never be removed once Minato puts them on the paths the fight is over and pain doesn’t know enough about Minato to actively avoid that. Also I don’t remember what’ going on currently in the story but War arc Minato also gets immortality, unlimited chakra, and has completely mastered the Kyuubi chakra mode.
These power levels are so weird. I don’t know what a “Super Hokage” is but when Marada revived he instantly defeated EMS Sasuke and Hashirama said he is approaching the power he had during his prime. But prime Hashirama still beat Madara + Kyuubi. If “Super Hokage” is Minato then he still easily defeats Curse Mark Sasuke and Sage Mode Naruto. In fact Minato was a perfect Sage himself. Curse Mark Sasuke was also significantly weaker than Itachi and barely beat Deidara. Naruto showed a powerful outing VS Pain but he knew most of pains abilities + he prepared extra clones to extend his sage mode + pain knew almost nothing about sage mode + the strongest pain couldn’t be used for most of the fight. These two are Kage level but even putting them at “Super Kage” seems like a stretch. I would put them below even the Raikage. And Bee probably beats both of them together.
Honestly, getting sasukes talent in fire, lightning and kenjutsu would probably be more useful.
Most people in this age range will just look at the menu and guess a price range. They are probably not buying alcohol and if they are conservative in what they order you can stay relatively cheap. I went to a very high end Japanese castle esque restaurant on top of a hill the other day with a group of friends a couple weeks ago. The bill was around $3k but my actual meal was only $47
Superman actually has learned kyrptonian martial arts. Spider-Man’s fighting style relies on his insane agility, spicy sense and webs. There’s little to no benefit for spidy learning martial arts.
